Except for an all-too brief sojourn in college in West Virginia, I've lived in Northern New Jersey my whole life. I'm married to Craig and mother to no one except dust mites and the cat, Peanut. I set out from NJ after high school intent on a career in youth ministry, which I followed through to seminary.. Along the way I learned a lot about myself and a lot about the Church and subsequently left the Church for two years, In the interim I worked as a technical writer for a software company. I really liked that, After a period of unemployment after 9/11, I worked in medical education, and now I work for Six Apart doing Help Stuff. I also have a side gig doing weddings for people who want to get married but don't have a minister but don't want a civil ceremony. I'm your girl. I'll also baptize your children and lead funeral services. It occured to me at some point after Seminary-- when I had left the Church -- that there were people who still had faith in God but were alienated from the Church and they still needed ministers. So that's my ministry. I call it Many Paths Fellowship. It's there for you when you need it. Doesn't ask for your money. If you find yourself needing a temporary minister, don't hesitate to contact me. And yes, I'm ordained online and it's perfectly legal for weddings. My hobbies are reading, listening to music, camping, avoiding cooking, blogging, and creative endeavors like paper crafts and digital scrapbooking, baseball (YANKEES) and NASCAR (Jeff Gordon). I also love to play Monopoly.
